I've been wanting to be more adventurous when it comes to ink colours, I tend to gravitate towards blues and greys more than anything. One colour I haven't tried is a green, so that was my aim for October. To try out green inks. Luckily the first one I tried is so beautiful I don't want to stop using it!
My first combination of October is a Caran d'Ache ink from their new Chromatics line in Delicate Green, using it in one of my Lamy Vista's. With a F nib, I have a soft spot from fine nibs from Lamy! I prefer using more colourful ink's in a Lamy Vista so I can see the bright fluid travelling through the different parts of the pen. It's the main reason I love demonstrator pens so much!
And of course I couldn't go without a grey, but this is a little different from most greys I usually use. It's a very warm toned grey from Mont Blanc called Oyster grey and I absolutely love it. Quite dark too, some grey's i've found can be very light but this is borderline black almost. I had to use this in one of my most recent pens, the AL Sport from Kaweco with a M nib. I reviewed this pen earlier on in the month here.
What have been you favourite combinations for this past month?
Thanks for reading!
